The Inn is one of the most amazing architectural wonders in Napa County.&nbsp; It was built as a private manse for a young couple in 1892 and it quickly became the center of the Napa social scene.&nbsp; Nearly the entire first floor was created to entertain, and entertain they did \u2013and still do!&nbsp; The Cedar Gables Inn somehow combines turn-of-the-century glamour with an intimate atmosphere.<br \/>\nIt was the perfect location for an elopement.<\/p>\n<p>The original plan to have the wedding ceremony outside was thwarted with menacing clouds, so we moved the ceremony in-doors.&nbsp; The owners of the inn worked swiftly to create the perfect ambiance \u2013not terribly difficult considering the architecture is already so spectacular.&nbsp; Kudos to innkeepers Ken and Susie for being amazing coordinators, hosts, and in a pinch\u2014the perfect witnesses for the nuptials.<\/p>\n<p>After the intimate wedding ceremony, we were able to sneak off before the rains, to one of my favorite locations for a shoot on a vineyard property complete with moody clouds and a windmill in the background.&nbsp;
